Hi, I'm Ms. Jackson and I would like to give you my personal welcome to NYCBlackSingles.com. Now that the introductions are out of the way, let's get to the point.
Dating in NYC is hard. Plain and Simple. Time-consuming commutes, conflicting work schedules and long hours often combine to make living and dating in one of the nation's largest cities difficult.
Now don't get me wrong. New York City, often referred to as the melting pot, has no shortage of Blacks. According to the 2007 US Census, Blacks make up 26.2% of the city's 8 million residents. So why is it that in a population of 2,096,000 Blacks, most are single? Well unless you're one of the lucky individuals to spot that handsome, successful, personable and charming brother while riding the F train to 51st and Lexington, then finding the time to date may be nearly impossible. Of course there's the weekend, but let's face it, unless you're looking for meaningful conversation with an attractive lady over the sound of 'Let's Swag' in the club, then your options are pretty limited.
At NYCBlackSingles.com, it is our mission to make dating a little easier for the professional, time crunched, mature, and working black crowd.
At NYCBlackSingles.com, we not only offer a forum for social networking, but we provide you with weekly dating ideas, tips, stories and the opportunity to blog on interesting topics facing our community.
That being said, I hope that you enjoy nycblacksingles.com, and if you have any issues, please don't hesitate to write me at
